AAO Conference Call Replay: Market Trends & Insights for 2025
"If man asks for many laws it is only because he is sure that his neighbor needs them; privately he is an unphilosophical anarchist, and thinks laws in his own case superfluous." Will Durant
Wow, what a session! Seriously, one of the best parts of doing this is getting to connect with so many sharp traders. Big thanks to everyone who showed up and contributed.
A couple of quick updates:
Apologies for today’s limit – the group has grown way beyond what I anticipated (which is amazing!), but I didn’t realize we’d hit a cap on attendees.
Good news – I’ve upgraded our service, so this won’t happen again. Everyone will be able to join moving forward.
If you couldn’t get in and want to chat markets, shoot me a message. I’ll carve out some time to connect. Oh, and don’t worry, the session was recorded.
Big thanks to @HostileCharts (aka Larry Thompson) for coming on and sharing his insights. Always great having top-tier people like him in these sessions.
Here’s a quick recap of the topics we covered:
The US Dollar and its recent moves
Gold and its implications in the current macro setup
Interest rates and what’s next
Market breadth and rotation into small caps
Oil’s outperformance and the energy trade
What’s happening with natural gas
The CPI report and what it means for markets
The Fed’s QT possibly coming to an end
You can catch the full replay here.
A quick heads-up: going forward, these sessions will be behind a paywall. But for now, we’re running a sale one last time as a thank you to everyone who’s been with us since the beginning.

Prices are going up soon, so if you’ve been on the fence, now’s the time.
Thanks again for all your support, it means a lot.
Let’s keep this momentum going!

Interesting stuff. XHB seems a bit undermentioned. Wondering when rates will catch up with the housing market and do we finally get a recession?
