Dollar Wrecking Ball… or Rubber Sword?
Gold Rush Live at 2pm EST
We go live at 2pm ET for Gold Rush Live to hit the question that decides the next leg for commodities and EM: Is the dollar about to be a wrecking ball—or just a paper tiger?
Here’s the setup we’ll break down with co-host Sam Gatlin:
Yield curve & cuts: As the curve keeps steepening and the Fed leans easier, does the dollar lose altitude—or rip on stress?
Positioning & flows: Are we staring at a crowded bounce or the start of a real trend?
Knock-on effects: What a strong vs. weak dollar means for gold, silver, miners, energy, and EM into year-end.
We’ll connect the dots between rate expectations, liquidity, and cross-asset price action, then lay out levels and risk we’re trading—from metals to the broad commodity complex.
If the dollar swings like a wrecking ball, we’ll show where damage hits first. If it’s a rubber sword, we’ll show where the real opportunities are hiding.
Live at 2pm ET. Bring the charts. Bring the questions.

Hello Jason. Great idea to focus on that and great previous article today. I would suggest a little 101 lesson (at the beginning) on bonds/yield curves/$USD implications, and some reference material for all the newcomers. You are right it is super important, but difficult to understand and follow without proper foundations. Thank you.
