Exits > Entries
Know where you are getting out before you get in.
Everyone loves the entry.
The breakout.
The signal.
The next trade.
But this is where real money is actually made — on the exit.
And silver is the perfect case study.
Let’s start with the Silver Futures chart from Sam Gatlin.
This is a massive, multi-decade structure. A long basing process that resolved higher and accelerated fast. When markets break out of patterns like this, they don’t move politely. They surge. And when they surge, targets matter — not because markets must stop there, but because humans do.
The upside target on this structure was 111.
We hit it.
That level isn’t magic. It’s math. Measured moves. Extensions. Areas where risk/reward flips for target-based traders. If you trade targets, this is where you sell something. Full stop.
That doesn’t mean the trend is dead.
It means your strategy has done its job.
And this is where most people blow it — because exits are uncomfortable.
Now contrast that with my trend chart.
