I'm Buying: The Brain-Body-Portfolio Connection

We’re not spreading risk across random assets — we’re syncing correlated trades with precision and timing. This is how you build a portfolio that moves like a body in flow.

The Body and the Portfolio

When you crash your bike enough times, you learn a thing or two about putting yourself back together.

I’ve had to do it more times than I’d like to admit. And even now, it’s still a process. There’s never one fix, one exercise, or one pill that solves everything. You fix a shoulder, then realize your hips are tight. You eat cleaner, but you’re still not sleeping enough. You stretch, but you’re still stressed.

It’s always the same story — there isn’t one magic answer.

The body is a system. A living, adaptive, fragile, and powerful system that requires balance. Movement. Awareness. Consistency.

And it’s no different with your portfolio.

The Brain-Body-Portfolio Connection

If your mind is chaos, your body follows. If your body’s broken, your focus goes.

Your portfolio? Same thing.

You can’t be “all in” on one thing and expect to thrive. You can’t bulk up one muscle and ignore the rest. You can’t live off caffeine and cortisol and expect your nervous system to stay calm.

That’s what old-school diversification tried to do — spread exposure everywhere without intent or awareness.
“Some bonds, some stocks, a little cash — call it a day.”

That’s not diversification. That’s sedation.

Real diversification isn’t owning uncorrelated junk and hoping for the best.
It’s about building a system — a living body of trades — that can flex, adapt, and perform under stress.

Not Your Grandpa’s Diversification

Our portfolios are positioned across four core areas right now:

  • Metals

  • International technology and energy stocks

  • International equities

  • Short bonds

But this isn’t diversification by textbook definition. It’s correlated diversification — multiple trades tied to the same macro regime, entered through different expressions when price gives the signal.

We like precious metals, but we’re not all in on gold miners.
We like energy, but we’re not betting the farm on oil.
We like international, but we’re rotating where relative strength actually lives.

It’s balance through intent. Not randomness.

The same way you might train your body with strength, cardio, recovery, and mindset — your portfolio has components that serve different purposes.
Some generate power.
Some absorb shocks.
Some just keep you steady when the world’s spinning.

The 3-Month Macro Movers

Now let’s look at what’s actually working.
