Markets leave clues.

You just have to look at the right places.

One of the easiest ways to understand where money is flowing is by watching industry leadership. When capital starts concentrating in a handful of sectors, it tells you what the market believes the next economic phase will look like.

Right now, that message is getting clearer.

Energy is quietly climbing the leaderboard.

(I went live to do a video yesterday on a Sunday to talk about oil hitting 100 dollars a barrel)

Leadership Is Telling the Story

Look at the leadership table above.

The sectors highlighted in yellow represent what I call reflation sectors. These are the industries that tend to lead when inflation pressures are rising.

And what do we see near the top?

  • Silver

  • Copper

  • Aluminum

  • Gold

  • Oil & Gas Drilling

  • Oil Equipment & Services

  • Integrated Energy

  • Exploration & Production

  • Midstream

Hard assets. Industrial metals. Energy.

These are not defensive sectors.

These are economic expansion sectors.

What’s important here is not just that these groups are doing well. It’s that they’re doing well relative to everything else in the market.

The table also shows another important piece of information:

Many of these groups are still well below their 52-week highs.

That means something important.

The market is still early in this move, not late.

Leadership is shifting toward hard assets and resource production, and energy is one of the biggest beneficiaries of that shift.

Energy Groups Are Breaking Higher

Now let’s zoom in on the energy sector itself.

When energy begins a real move, it rarely happens in just one area. Instead, you start to see broad participation across the entire ecosystem.

That’s exactly what this scan shows.
