Tencent: The Giant That’s Ready to Wake Up
China’s Back. You Just Don’t Know It Yet. (Portfolio Review-Out Later Today)
I keep seeing China show up on my international leadership dashboards.
Not because of headlines. Not because anyone’s bullish on the macro story. But because price is starting to lead.
No one is talking about China and everyone is scared to these stocks.
China Small Caps are up 24% year-to-date. Chinese technology is above its 200-day moving average. Internet stocks are firming. Even speculative China names are starting to catch bids.
This isn’t about front-running policy decisions or guessing GDP. It’s about capital flowing back into an area everyone gave up on. And when that happens, I pay attention.
Because I’ve seen this play out before—India was hated before it wasn’t. Same with South American stocks. Same with gold.
Price moves first and then the narrative follows.
I’m not saying load the boat. But the time to start watching is before the headlines catch up.
